Would you be upset if your guy saw this video clip from Sesame Street of breastfeeding on TV? www.youtube.com/watch?v=g3DWRhfNm…
This is from a classic episode of Sesame Street.
My questions are:
1. Would you be upset if this came on Sesame Street while your guy was watching?
2. Do you think something like this would ever be aired on a guyren's show these days? |
I think it's fantastic, and wish they would re-air it!!! :)
I mean, come on, we cannot pretend formula feeding is natural. It's necessary sometimes, yes. But it's a man-made food, while breastfeeding is practiced by all mammals. ;)
I have no problem with my guy seeing anyone breastfeeding. It's beautiful and sweet. |
Why do men like to see a woman (even if not wife) breastfeeding baby and watch TV about breastfeeding ? In fact, I know a boy who used to read books about breastfeeding when he was 18 yrs old. Men like to watch a mother breastfeeds her baby especially a video clip cuz they wouldn't be embarrassed as like as they see her in nature. |
| That's easy . . . because Men are just big babies! |
I asked men the following question about breastfeeding (Woman responses only please)? "Question is for straight/bi men only.
What if you will never have a chance to see Jessica Alba's or Megan Fox's nude breasts, except for this one chance to see the breasts/nipples of these two girls in a video clip (you get to keep) of them breastfeeding. With them showing their breasts and nipples completely nude for 5 minutes. Would you want to see the video or would not want to see the video? If you do want to see the video, would it sexually arouse you (not because of the baby of course, but because of the breasts/nipples)?
Please answer honestly"
The results showed 9/9 men wanted to see the breasts/nipples
How does this make you woman feel about breastfeeding in public, knowing that 9/9 men said yes?
Do you think that the western world has gone too far in making boobs/nipples such a big deal for men? |
i think that men are naturally attracted to breasts, just like how babies naturally root for the breast. that being said, i am not surprised that the men wanted to see the breasts.
i do think the western world has gone too far not just with men but EVERYONE. the women get the breast implants to attract men, knowing full well that it could render them useless for breastfeeding in the future. THAT is pathetic to me. |
Yahoo warning, a confusion? I have received a notification from Yahoo that I have violated the accounts terms hence next time my account can be deleted. But reason for it has not been given.
What comes to my mind is that perhaps, repeat perhaps, it could be that I posted some videos clips regarding breastfeeding (guyren) or milking boobs small clips but mostly taken from the Yahoo search engines and added on my Favourtine. If it is the reason then my mind is confused. Reason being I marked these videos as "private". Secondly Yahoo itself is full of more adult items in its search and yahoo system for example Yahoo Groups have more dirty adult groups. So I wonder why my simply posting some video clips taking directly from Yahoo search itself or from Yahoo listings themselves can become a cause of cancellation of account.
Can anyone guide please. |
You may posted adult content in a Y!A forum that forbids it.
It's like television. Some content can be shown after ten p.m., but not before. |
Breastfeeding and latch on? when breastfeeding, for the season pro's do you still have to pinch your areola and shape it to the baby's mouth to get them to latch on? i saw in a video clip on you tube, a lady didn't even have to do that (cup her breast) she just put the baby to the breast, without any help.... |
| The lacatation consultant I delt with while at the hospital let me do that at first to get him used to being on the breast. But she advised not to continue to do this cause they can become depent on that and its not actually the correct way to get them to latch on. ...... I would work on not offering the nipple to him like that anymore...... now with my babe all I have to do is move the breast towards him and his finds it and hes only 4 weeks old. Try stimulating your nipples before having him latch and he may have a easier time finding the nipple and positioning the rest of the aerola in his mouth without the assistance. |
Would you trust breastfeeding advice from someone who claims to be...? A registered midwife and a 'breastfeeding expert'?
In the UK, GMTV yesterday aired a debate about breastfeeding (specifically extended breastfeeding), including a 'midwife' named Clare Byam Cook - who, on-air, compared breastmilk to coca-cola. For those who missed it, find the video clip here;
www.gm.tv/lifestyle/families-and-…
It has been revealed that Clare Byam-Cook is neither a registered midwife nor has any specific qualifications or experience directly relevant to breastfeeding.
Is this harming the case for breastfeeding? Not just for extended breastfeeding, but for breastfeeding in general?
If anyone would like to make an official complaint about the show, they can be sent from here;

This isn't a bash about formula feeding, before someone attacks me. Both of my guyren recieved more formula than they did breastmilk, for reasons I no longer feel the need to justify. This is about misrepresentation and dishonesty within the media. |
Wow, you would think they would choose more wisely when having this kind of discussion aired on television.
The moment that women opened her mouth I wanted to punch her in the face, no joke.
Unfortunately, many people are under the misconception that if someone claims to be a medical professional of some kind, that they must know what they are talking about and what they say must be true. It makes me sick and sad, and I do believe that it does do harm.
As a mother breastfeeding my 3 year old, I have had many people either in the medical field or using information they received from a medical "professional" to say that I was harming my guy. I try and correct the misinformation as much as I can, but, unfortunately, because I do not have a medical degree, some people just say I don't know what I am talking about.
All I can do is shake my head at the ignorance.
****
"she is intitled to an opinion just like you are."
Yes, she is entitled to her opinion. What she is NOT entitled to is getting on public television, claiming to be a medical professional, and spewing her (ignorant) opinion. |
What do you think of this video clip? www.weirdspot.com/breastfeeding.html |
| wow? that is all i could say wow wow wow wow wow?????? |
How do I stop my 19mth old from turning into a brat? I think it's already started.I know it seems like a stupid question but it's true.I know it's hard bcos she can't speak so everything she wants I get "aaa aaa" but it's at that point now where if the familys watching something on tv and she doesn't like it or want it on(she's obsessed with music video clips and some guys shows but music more) she starts chucking a tantrum, even in the car if there's a song on that she doesn't like she points at the cd player and says no or aaa aaa.at the shopping centre I have to bribe her with a ride and even then that doesn't stop her from the tantrums cos she wants to go 1 way when were actually going the other way.she's also still breastfed and it seems like she wants it every 5 mins and when she does have it it's for like a minute or two.I give into her cos her tantrums drive me up the way.iv tried weaning but to no avail.I use to enjoy breastfeeding but now I hate it.any advice would be great |
If your guy is 19 months and still can't speak, something is wrong.
And it's called DISCIPLINE, dear.
Try it. |
Tyra Banks Show - Breastfeeding & SAHM vs. Working Moms? Okay, maybe I'm a little late on this subject, but did you see the Tyra Banks show about extended breastfeeding and stay-at-home-moms (SAHM) vs. working moms? WTH were they thinking?!? I watched a re-run of it today.
I can't believe how she allowed audience members and guests to get on there and attack each other. I felt so bad for them!!!
Here's a short clip I found, I'm trying to find more of the video:

I saw it and was appalled!!!! I was terrible. THIS is the reason people don't feel comfortable breastfeeding in the US. And why people are SO SO unaware of how natural breastfeeding progresses durring a normal guy's life. By natural design, guyren are not meant to be weaned until much later than most people think. It just pissed me off to no end that Tyra was making it seem like something sexual! YES the little girl was 7, almost 8, but what they didn't say was that she weaned the way humans are meant to.... she lost her sucking reflex at that age and just stopped nursing. That was what was normal for her. Society has made breastfeeding a guy until they are naturally ready to quit into some big ugly unnatural thing. It's sad really.
Just FYI for those out there that are unaware: The natrual age of weaning for a guy happens when they gradually loose the sucking reflex, usually this happens between the ages of 2.5 and 7 yrs old. It is not a bad thing for a guy to wean at 7, it is natural and normal and that guy will have tremenous phycological and health benifits from being allowed to develop a normal attachment to mother and have the best nutrition and antibodies from breastmilk for the time their body required it. |
Woman arrested for breast feeding while drunk. Crime? Personally, as the adult guy of an alcoholic, I think that she should have the guy taken away from her and that she should be spayed like a dog so she can never breed up and abuse another guy.
It is illegal to give alcohol to a guy... She is getting it drunk... She is not providing an emotionally or physically healthy home for her guy, which is neglect and abuse...
If the state has grounds to take a guy away from a mother that comes up positive for illegal drugs at the birth, why is it not illegal to breast feed while intoxicated with a substance that is transmitted through breast milk?
What is your opinion on this?

You sound bitter.
I'm a former alcoholic. I"m sober now, have been for 11 years. I regret some of the things I did when I drank, but I've had a chance to repair the damage. I think everyone should have the same chance.
I know my guys love me and am glad they are with me today.
That's all I have to say. |
